After 33 years at Hoare Lea and six leading the business as Managing Director, Justin Spencer will be retiring at the end of the year. His tenure has seen the business go through several significant changes, not least of which was joining the Tetra Tech family in 2021.

A succession plan has been in place for some time, with a number of people in senior roles taking on more responsibilities and we are delighted to announce that Matt Jones will be taking over this role after Justin’s departure. Justin will be leaving in December 2026, and over the next few months he and Matt will be working closely together to ensure a seamless handover.

We’ll be sharing more information about Matt and his vision for the business in due course, but please join us in congratulating both Justin and Matt on their new ventures.
