City Pride on the London Docklands is a landmark building with an extra special job. Not only a residential and hotel tower, it’s location at the western end of South West India Dock means it’s designed as a clean rectilinear form in order to create a coherent marker for the termination of the dock.

Shared spaces.

This 75-storey tower features 752 private residential apartments and 70 shared-ownership apartments. Its double-glazed façade provides a continuous skin behind which all apartments enjoy private winter gardens, as well as three floors of shared amenity space including a landscaped roof garden, gymnasium, dining rooms, and children’s play areas. Two double-height roof terraces crown the building, acting as an illuminated marker at night. A separate single-storey building located on the dockside is articulated as a raised and tilted ground plane, and provides a publically accessible roof garden and naturally ventilated café.
