Our graduates
During my Master’s degree in Engineering Design, I undertook a placement at Hoare Lea. My favourite project worked on was a local community centre development. I enjoyed the level of responsibility given as well as the experience and knowledge represented in my design team and colleagues in general. I returned to Hoare Lea as a graduate in 2022 and enjoy working with some great people as well as being involved in STEM outreach, organising work experience for young people.

I started as a graduate 2019 and the company trusted me to work on time-critical projects. Our IPD (Initial Professional Development) Scheme provides mentoring, support, guidance and training to set you off on the right path – one where you are thinking about how you can continually grow and develop.
Whether you join as a trainee, apprentice, technician or graduate, the scheme will guide you as you build the knowledge, skills and experience you need to practice as respected professionals in your field. For those working towards Professional Registration, the IPD Scheme will guide you to know when you are ready to apply and provide you with a portfolio of evidence to support your application.
