I’m a Partner who works on a variety of projects, with a particular interest in the super prime residential and commercial office markets. I have had a number of papers published by CIBSE and the Institute of Energy, on the integration of renewable sources of electricity generation and the changing demands on the UK electricity network.
Biggest engineering challenge.
I worked on an office refurbishment in St. Helier, Jersey, for Natwest bank. It involved replacing an existing Variable Air Volume (VAV) system with active chilled beams – all while the building was still in use and had a very high occupancy density of one person per five square metres.
A defining moment.
For me, a number of projects I’ve worked on have had a defining moment: when we reach the stage that we are a very trusted part of the client’s team and clearly their “consultant of choice”. One of my career highlights was working on the refurbishment of two houses in Kensington for a Middle Eastern royal family, a residential project with a contract value of £23 million.
