Having a positive impact. What we do and why we do it.

We recognise the responsibility we can have in driving positive progress, not just for our own employees but for society more widely. Our corporate responsibility report shows how and where we’re making that difference.

This year’s report includes our progress on tracking the carbon performance of our projects through the RIBA design stages and into operation, our work with partners such as the UK Green Building Council, the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers, and others, to support industry progress on decarbonisation, energy efficiency, circular economy practices, and climate adaptation and much more.

It was researched and compiled by Principal Social Value Consultant Anna Fredlander and ESG Consultant Charlotte Knowles.

It is encouraging to see Hoare Lea making a tangible commitment to exploring the underlying causes of health and wellbeing challenges faced by our employees. Engaging with experts in the field to conduct a robust piece of research is a vital step forward to guiding us in implementing impactful changes to enhance employee wellbeing.

This year, the emphasis on data at Hoare Lea truly stands out. The development of new tools and the Multiverse apprenticeships are helping us become more data literate, enabling smarter decisions and greater innovation. I’ve seen firsthand how valuable this initiative is for our team, and I look forward to seeing how this continues to evolve.

– Charlotte Knowles
