The illusion of safety.
Watch in full: Joe Tidy's talk at Designing the Future
We’ve occupied all three dimensions and a fourth is ripe for the conquering – but cyber space is necessitating a step-change in how we think about security.
It’s a land of immense opportunity but no rules. We’ve designed a wonderful new world without putting locks on the doors. Cyber criminals shake our economies, profiteers seek to cash in on the illusion of security, selling by fear.
With everything we design having the potential to be exploited, we must make our environments cyber secure, and be savvy to ensure order and infrastructure for the future.
