A new pathway.

We now have an accredited IPD scheme for early careers Security professionals!

The IET have re-accredited our initial professional development (IPD) scheme for another three years, which now includes our Security pathway. This is in addition to our Electrical, Mechanical, Building Intelligence, and Property Services pathways. This is the first time we have had a recognised pathway for Security professionals, specifically aligned to their discipline.

For those in their early careers, our IPD scheme provides support, guidance and training for those looking to achieve Professional Registration at any level (e.g. EngTech, IEng, CEng). The scheme helps you understand when you are ready to apply and provides you with a portfolio of evidence to support your application.

This new pathway formally recognises the work we do in Security as a route to demonstrate the relevant UK-SPEC competencies. It is a great selling point to entice new engineers to join the firm and the Security team.
