Celebrating our people.

Our firm’s values run through everything we do. This year, we wanted to bring them to life even further and launched our first-ever firm-wide awards to shine a light on our brilliant people.

The awards were split across four categories, each reflecting one of our values. In its inaugural year we received more than 100 nominations, all of which showed the dedication, hard-work and passion of our people.

To celebrate, we invited all those shortlisted to a special awards dinner on 11 December.

Join us in congratulating our 2019 award winners:

Personal commitment: The award for the individual who has gone above and beyond.

Hannah Bladon.

“Hannah is well known with our central management group, all who welcome her input in improving the firm. She is reliable, committed, enthusiastic and always seeks to go one step further, she is the go-to person in the office.”

Creative diligence: The award for best lightbulb moment.

Karam Bhamra.

“Karam initially came across the Matterport 3D camera a couple of years ago, while it was being presented as a residential sales tool. He immediately recognised the value in making 3D capture capabilities easily accessible to all.”

Courageous collaboration: The team award for overcoming adversity.

The 1 New Street Square team.

“The 1 New Street Square team adopted a truly collaborative approach from the outset of the project in July 2015. All of the hard work resulted in a global-first being: a project that simultaneously achieved BREEAM ‘Outstanding’ and WELL ‘Gold’ certification.”

Pride in performance: The unsung hero award.

Zarna Patel.

“Zarna seems to have found her place, her ‘mojo’ and her calling. She has rapidly blossomed into one of the most effective, efficient and best performing team leaders I could have ever expected to work with. She is a great ambassador for women, Hoare Lea and the industry.”
