YTL Arena: plans submitted.

Putting Bristol on the world stage for live music and entertainment.
Bristol’s dream of having an all-purpose, world class event space is taking a step closer to reality this week as YTL are submitting plans to repurpose the Brabazon Hangars in Filton into a new, state-of-the-art entertainment complex.
If the proposals are given the go ahead, YTL plans to open the doors to the public in early 2023 and it will be the third largest arena in the UK.
It is understood that the complex will create more than 500 new jobs and inject £1.5billion into the local economy over 25 years, as well as raising the profile of the city and wider region. The development will be fully privately funded and will not require public subsidy.
We’re building much more than just an arena – it’s a 365-day entertainment destination inside the iconic Brabazon Hangars that will create new jobs, bring new business to the region and enhance Bristol’s position as a leading European city.

With aims to put Bristol on the world stage for live music and entertainment, the redevelopment of these iconic hangars will not only celebrate their historic past but reinvent them as the new home of supersonic for future generations to enjoy.
