Championing better standards for security.
The Register of Security Engineers and Specialists.
Formed in 2008, the Register of Security Engineers and Specialists (RSES) promotes excellence in security engineering. It provides a benchmark of professional competence, against which its members are independently assessed.
Our firm is a strong supporter of the RSES, recognising the need for independent accreditation.
All our Security engineers are either already members or are actively working towards membership. Membership of the Register demonstrates that the work done by an individual is both of the highest professional standard and up-to-date with developments in technology, methodology and threat.
Leading by example.
John Taylor, Associate Director and Head of our Security group, sits on the RSES Executive Steering Group. He has been active on the Register from its beginnings and achieved Principal Membership in 2012. Our Senior Associate Richard Jones has also been a Principal Member since 2014 and leads our project delivery. Both have demonstrated by peer review that they meet the high standards of knowledge and experience set out in the Register’s entry criteria.
John says: “We are immensely proud of the security engineering we do here at Hoare Lea. Our membership of the RSES gives our clients the confidence that our pride is justified.”
The Register is sponsored by the Centre for Protection of National Infrastructure and administered by the Institution of Civil Engineers.
