The future of energy? The future is now.

Back in February, I spoke at our national Designing the Future event. I wanted to share how energy is intrinsically linked to climate change, and how global warming is only emphasising our need to reach net zero carbon.

With 72% of carbon emissions coming from energy – half of which is associated with the built environment – the pressure is on and it is a challenge we must all rise to.

In recent years, our technology has dramatically evolved.

This is our decade of change.

Below, discover the link between a banana and batteries, the viable routes to reach net zero, and how we can utilise our buildings better to thrive in our ‘new future’.
