Air Quality

Taxi House, London.

The Collective | Alford Hall Monaghan Morris

A carefully curated space.

Taxi House is a mixed-use scheme situated on the Grand Union Canal with a diverse clientele. The development aims to make a positive impact on the local community by providing social spaces that can host a varied programme of events and courses.

The great outdoors.

A significant part of this project is the creation of a new public realm, spanning from the entrance of the site to the waterfront. Due to the central location in the city, public health is paramount. We are delivering the air quality requirements needed for the planning application and to ensure a safe, clean environment.

Constant consideration.

The site sits near Woodfield Road Medical Centre and a local nursing home. The potential impacts of the construction phase could be detrimental to the wider community. However, by conducting thorough assessments using high sensitivity receptors, we are able to fully understand the impact. We have now embedded appropriate mitigation measures that will ensure the work carried out can be done in a safe way that ensures the best air quality levels possible and access to amenities.
