Vertical Transportation:
The art of people flow.

Vertical Transportation (VT) is how we interact and move through a building – efficiently, safely, smoothly. Elevators, escalators, moving walks and stairs allow the free flow of people. As buildings continue to get larger, it’s important they function with ever-increasing speed and efficiency. VT design makes it possible, supplying valuable space and sought-after views.

Our experts have authored many VT design guidance publications, and deeply understand the delicate balance required to ensure a space functions as required but also meets other aspirations.

We work closely with:
Mechanical, Electrical & Public Health Engineering.
